Chelsea grew up dancing in Northern California with In Sync Dance Studio, training in all styles of dance, her favorites being Jazz & Hip Hop. Before moving to Maui, she traveled to Australia, South Africa, and Korea with an outreach dance group called Impact World Tour. She also spent two years in LA, taking classes from some of the leading choreographers in the commercial industry, and performed with Animo Dance Crew at showcases around the city. Chelsea was a dancer in the theater production, Burn’n Love at the Maui Theatre, and has been a barre instructor for six years. For Chelsea, the best part of growing up as a dancer is that it gave her a place to belong, build confidence, and make lifelong friends. She loves to create an environment where kids’ passion for dance can grow and she is so excited to join the MDM team!
