Angelynn Bair

Angelynn began her dance training in Maui, Hawaii, when she was five years old. By the early age of twelve she had developed her expertise as a teacher for Heart Dance Studio and Maui Academy of Performing Arts. Her passion and curiosity for dance and choreography took her to California where she was accepted into the nationally recognized School of the Arts at California State University of Long Beach.

Angelynn earned her B.A. in Dance, allowing her to work with a great range of elite choreographers in the industry, including Lorin Johnson (ABT), Andrew Vaca, Keith Johnson, and Martha Graham company dancer, Susan McLain. She is an accomplished professional dancer, having danced with Jazzworks - Long Beach, the “So Cal Dance Invitational” and the Trey McIntyre Project.

After 9 years of living in California, Angelynn made her way back to Maui in 2013 and rejoined the teaching staff at Maui Academy of Performing Arts where she taught for the last 7 years. She helped create MAPA’s first competitive dance team that traveled to various competitions on Oahu, including JUMP & Spotlight Dance Cup.

Angelynn was a company member in Ampersand Dance Company (2014-2015). She worked with Adaptations Dance Theater in 2017 and was featured in the world Premier of "p a t c h e d", choreographed by Nathaniel Hunt. You may have also seen her in the Elvis show spin-off at the Maui Theatre, “Burn’n Love!” (2014-2017).

When Angelynn isn’t dancing you can find her zipping around Maui showing property, as she is also a licensed Realtor. This profession is near and dear to her heart, seeking to educate and guide clients through the entire experience when buying or selling a home. Focusing on detail and providing clients with first class customer service.
