Is there a dress code?

Do you have a payment plan?

Yes, please contact info@momentumdancemaui.com. Payment plans must be renewed at the beginning of each school year.

 

Do I need to re-enroll my child each session?

Students are automatically enrolled in sessions 2-4.  You must re-enroll for summer sessions and for the new school year. Families with outstanding balances at the end of each session will not be auto-enrolled.If you do not wish to be automatically enrolled into the next session, please email us at info@momentumdancemaui.com.

 

Where can I buy shoes and dance attire?

We sell tights and leotards in the studio. We also have a partnership with  Step-N-Up on Oahu. Please go here for our pre-selected attire for a discount. 

 

Do you offer mult-class discounts?

Yes!  Discounts are as follows:

First class: full price

2nd and 3rd classes: 10% discount

4th, 5th and 6th class: 15% discount

7th and up classes: 20% discount

 

Do you have a registration fee?

Yes.  We have a registration fee that is charged once a year.  The first child in the family is $35 and $15 for each additional child.

 

My child just had a birthday can they move up a level?

Generally students stay at that level for the school year unless recommended by the teacher to move up.

Can I withdraw and get a refund if I don’t like the class?

Withdrawals will generally be offered class credit. Refunds are offered on a case-by-case basis and a $5 fee will be charged per refund.  Refunds will be prorated for the number of classes attended.

 

How early before class should I get there?

Dancers should arrive 5-10 before classes start.  Doors will open 15 minutes before the first class of the day.  If you arrive before this and see teachers walking in, please be patient and wait. The teachers need time to settle in before students start arriving. 

 

My child is sick, what do I do?

Go into your app and enter your child’s absence and schedule a makeup class.

 

Can I just show up for a make up class?

No, please sign up ahead of time as we only have so many make up slots available.

 

Do you do shows?

Yes! We do the Nutcracker by audition in the winter and a Spring Show, Our 2023-2024 showcase will be on May 30 - June 2.  The exact dates for each class will be determined and schedules will be emailed.
