Alongside Katie’s professional career in dance, she is a dedicated educator and mentor. She runs a private lesson program, where she supports dancers in preparing for college auditions, summer intensive submissions, competitions, or simply developing artistry and technique. In the past, her work with ADT included directing programs such as Masterclass Series, Winter Workshop, and Summer Intensive, where she helped expand opportunities for local dancers to engage with professional contemporary dance.
Katie has a lifelong background in tap dancing. In high school she took private lessons that led to solo performance opportunities, including at the Jason Samuels Smith International Tap Festival Los Angeles. As of May 2026 Katie is a Tap Roots Certified Tap Teacher, in addition to her certifications in Yoga (True Flow Yoga with Brynn Rybeck) and Barre Fitness (Xtend Barre).
Katie draws on her experience as a professional dancer, choreographer, and fitness instructor to create a supportive environment where students can strengthen technique, artistry, and self-expression, while building confidence that they can carry with them throughout their lives.
